About the Manufacturer – Rauta Erzgebirge Crafts

Rauta Erzgebirge Crafts was founded in 1990 by Gabriele Günther. The family-run manufactory is located in Neuhirschstein, Saxony. However, the story began even earlier. In fact, the first small workshop started in 1979, producing Christmas pyramids and Schwibbogen candle arches.

Over time, the workshop grew into a respected manufacturer with a talented team of artisans.

Today, the second generation continues the tradition. Master Toymaker Frank Günther leads the company and brings fresh ideas to the designs. In addition, he has developed his own innovative product line. His minimalist creations highlight the natural beauty of wood with clean and elegant forms.

While the early workshop produced only a few items, the collection has grown significantly. Today, Rauta offers around 500 unique handcrafted designs.

Each piece brings warmth and festive charm into the home. Especially during Advent and Christmastime, these decorations create a cozy atmosphere. Candlelight, slowly turning pyramid blades, and the familiar scent of incense all capture the magic of the season.
